Applicants must have been qualified for at leas- seven years and hold a higher qualification in Psychiatry or General Medicine or hold a Diplome in Public Health or Medical Administra tion and have at least five years experience in the practise of his specialty. The salary scale is that of Specialist under the Hospita l Employment (Medical Officers) Deiei minations viz: §17,060 p.a.?522.161 p.a. plus $365 p.c. cos> of living adjustment. Commencing rate within that scale will be in accordance with qualifications and experience of the appointee and subject to the approval of the Department of Health Further promotion based on special merit and subject to the determination of the Medical Officer- Salaries Grading Committee is available within the scales §23.313 p.a., §24,630 p.a , $26,001 p.,.. an<’ $28,459 p.a.
