Young girl struck by car
A young girl injured on Saturday when she was struck by a car at the corner of Riccarton Road and Rimu Street is now out of the intensive-care ward at the Christchurch Hospital. She is Tracey Anne Giles, aged eight, of 46 Division Street, Riccarton, who suffered leg and hip Injuries in the accident. Four persons injured when the car they were in rolled over, hit a bridge, and went through a fence at Little River late on Saturday afternoon are all now out of hospital. They were taken by private car to Takamatua, on the main highway to Akaroa, where they were transferred to two waiting ambulances.
Those injured are Sandra Krimulens, of 22 Dunedin Street, Christchurch, and Jane Mary Lambie, Leslie Youngman, and Raeleen Palmer, of 20 Dunedin Street;
