Market in car park
Week-end flea markets will begin in the Manchester Street car park on Saturday. The flea markets are being organised by the Christchurch Lions clubs to raise money for local charities and will be held every Saturday, except during Christmas and New Year.

earlier. The market will close at 3 p.m. It will cost $3 *o hold a stall at a flea market and inquiries about this can be made at the Christchurch City Council Chambers and the Manchester Street car park. The markets will be held on the upper three floors of the car park, and the lower three floors will be used for public car parking at 20c a car.
