Rises outnumbered falls two to one on a steady, quiet Christchurch sharemarket yesterday. C.F.M. gained 2c but its fellow meat company, Waitaki-N.Z.R., fell lc. Montana eased a further cent from its recent peak of 75c after speculative buying.
