N.Z. pacer second
NZPA Washington The New Zealand pacer. Testing Times, won another $6OOO last Friday when he ran second in the $25,000 pacing heat for two-year-olds at Roosevelt Raceway, New York. The placing qualified the voungster for further heats next Friday, and his owner, Kevin Holmes, hopes he will go on to the $50,000 final on November 26. Testing Times started from the No. 1 position last night and hit the lead early. But he was outgunned by the top-class juvenile, Wellwood Hanover, which hit the front at the quarter and was never headed.
