Situations Vacant CATERING MANAGER A PERSON WITH outstanding abilities in food preparation, distribution and management is required for the position of Catering Manager within the Auckland University Student’s Association Catering Complex. Experience in all facets of catering and staff management is essential and a sound knowledge of basic cooking and baking techniques would be advantageous. The manager is required to provide a catering service for the 12,000 members of the University and. in addition, to promote and organise catering for functions and conferences. Such a person will be responsible for the management of up to 60 staff plus the preparation of budgets in conjunction with senior executives and ensuring that budgetary targets are met. A salary of up to $12,000 per annum would be paid, plus other benefits and an incentive bonus that would be negotiated with the successful applicant.
