NZPA-Reuter London A Welsh country vicar it in trouble with his bishop after going about dressed as a woman, the London “Sun” r. 'wspaper reports. The Rev. Sidney Edwards, aged 68, vicar of Llandysilio, mid-'Wales. dressed up in his wife’s skin, coat and hat, powdered his face, and went for trips into town. But the vicar, a father of four, was recognised by a parishioner, and now he fears he may be forced to rssign. after confessing his behaviour to the bishop. He said yesterday: “I did it for pure relaxation, a break from routine. There was no ulterior or sexual motive.’ “1 admit it was a mistake but I hope I will be allowed one in my career.”
