This position requires a person who is able to conduct practical art classes and is able to produce lectures, publications and other material in conjunction with exhibitions held in the gallery. The salary scale for the position will be in the range of either $7072 to $7884 per annum with further advancement passible on recommendation to $8484; or $7485 to $BBBO per annum with further advancement possible on recommendation to $9280. The $365 cost of living allowance is payable in addition to these rates. The scale in which the appointee is placed will be determined by the relevance of qualifications held. PHYSIOLOGY TECHNICIAN This challenging position would suit a person who has graduated or who is about to graduate in the N.Z. Certificate of Science in Physiology or its equivalent and who in addition has biological, chemical or electronic experience. The appointee will be responsible for the preparation of equipment, experimental animals and special solutions for laboratory classes in physiology as well as the ordering of supplies and maintaining equipment for physical or electronic measurement of physiological functions.
