For applicants prepared to study eight C.I.A subjects followed by nine months full-time study at the Wellington Polytechnic. Salary dependant on qualifications. Graduates would be considered for either scheme, as would applications from persons already qualified as a ■ Health Inspector. Salary, after qualifying (at minimum age twenty), rises from $7640 plus 5365 “cost of living, to $8934, plus $365 “cost of living,” in four annual increments. Upon qualifying, he will be employed in the various aspects of public health administered by a major urban Local Authority. He must have an ability to mix with the public at all levels, display tact and integrity, and accept responsibility.
