Clothing cutback
About 80 workers in the full-length finishing department of L.W.R. Hosiery, 'Ltd, will work a four-day week from Monday.
The company is a subsidiary of Lane Walker Rudkin.
Initially the decision will cover the period between now and Christmas, and the situation will be reviewed then.
The managing director of L.W.R. Hosiery (Mr P. Bresnahan) said yesterday that he appreciated the staff’s loyalty and their reaction to the cutback.
