N.A.C. fare rise off

N.A.C. was planning on about a 1 per cent passen-ger-growth rate this year but already in the first six months since March 31 there has been a 5 per cent growth. The airline’s assistant general manager in charge of finance (Mr A. W. Varcoe) said this meant that short of devaluation “or something equally significant,” N.A.C. did not now plan to apply for further increases before the new year.
