Lister 2nd in golf
NZPA Adelaide John Lister, the top New Zealand professional golfer, proved ’that he has at last found form j this season when he shot a 70 yesterday to add to his firstround 68 to share second place in the $50,000 West Lakes classic. Bob Shearer led the field with rounds of 67 and 69 for a total of 136 and Lister shared second on 138 with Rod McNaughton, of Victoria The top Australian, Graham. Marsh, was on 139. Shearer made an amazing i*ecovery on the last hole to take the lead after the second round. His last-hole recovery' came after his drive finished in bushes, farcing him to take a penalty.
