MARKET REACTS FAVOURABLY
Lhe New Zealand sharemarket yesterday reacted favourably to the econmic package introduced by the Government. Rises outnumbered falls by three to one, and the N.Z.U.C. index rose 1.99 pointns to 285.41. Andrews and eßaven rose 3c on its annual report, Tasman regained 5c and C.F.M. firmed oc although its shares had little time to react to the fall in proft.
