War Hawk’s first wins
Roval Choice showed easy mastery of one of Wingatul’s heaviest tracks in a sprint for two-x ear-olds before the first race at the Otago spring meeting on Saturdaj. The first foal sired bx War Hawk H. Royal Choice, won by a length from Katiki Gold, which beat First Degree by a nose. Royal Choice, a half-sister to the winners. Majestic Star (dam of Regina Caeli', is prepared at Wlngatui by Cliff Reese-Jones for Mr Mulvey Kelly, of Gore, who will race the filly on lease from his son. Brian. War Hawk II stood for a season at Mr Brian Kelly's property in Eastern Southland before being sent to Wanganui.
