More than $20,000 is hoped for from an appeal for Christchurch children’s homes this Saturday. The appeal has been or-; ganised by the Christchurch! Children's Homes Appeal ■ Trust Board. Nearly 300 people have! volunteered to collect fori
the appeal but “we could do with some more,” said a member of the appeal committee, Mr F. A. Gunn i money collected would be divided among lour churches — Anglican, J Presbyterian, Methodist, and i Roman Catholic — for their children’s homes, Mr Gunn I said.
