PA Auckland Five nominations had been received for the Auckland Mayoralty when nominations closed yesterday. They were Mr J. P. Anderton, a managing director (Labour), Mr M. E. Connor, a male nurse (Independent), Mr C. M. Kay, a managing director (Independent), Sir Dove-Myer Robinson, the sitting mayor (non-party [independent), and Mr M. L. Tronson, a public-relations director (Citi (Citizens’ and jßatepyaers Association).
