Pay increase for nurses
PA Wellington A 7.6 per cent pay rise for private hospital nurses was agreed to in award negotiations in Wellington yester[uay. It brings private hospital nurses’ salaries basically into line with those of public hospital nurses. The increase, which is only the second negotiated for private hospital nurses, will take effect from the [next pay day.
