MIXED NEW ZEALAND MARKET
The New Zealand sharemarket was mixed in quiet trading yesterday. Dominion Fertiliser shares rose from 485 c to 520 c, after Kempthorne Prosser announced it was giving consideration to increasing its offer. The largest parcel sold at 510 c for a 5c gain. C.P.D. fell 1c after announcing it expected a lower profit in the current year. The N.Z.U.C. index fell 0.65 points to 276.55.
