Rex to make bonus issue
Rex Consolidated, Ltd, will make a one-for-five bonus issue in October.
The 12 per cent dividend is expected to be maintained! on the higher capital. The bonus shares, will not rank for the interim dividend normally paid in November. The profit for the first four months of the present year was ahead of last year’s, and ahead of budget said the chairman (Mr L. N. Ross).
The issue will raise the capital $416,790 to $2,500,740, and will be made from asset revaluation reserves.
