‘Tribe discovered'
A French physician claims to have discovered a primitive tribe that practises human sacrifice in the heart of the Amazon rain forest, but his account has been disputed by jungle experts. According to Dr Luis van Leer, the tribe of 2000 possesses vast riches in gold and precious stones, practises human sacrifice, and child marriage, and has a 15-letter alphabet. Groucho Marx has left the bulk of his estate to his three children, Arthur, Melinda, and Miriam, with a $150,000 dollar bequest to Erin Fleming, his 'constant companion in later years, according to probate papers. The will, dated September 24, 1974, also leaves Marx’s only living brother, Zeppo, $50,000 and each of his grandchildren $5OOO. The document, running more than 20 pages, states that if any of the heirs challenge the will they are to be given a total of $l.
