WS 'mSf'i waimatri COUNTY COUNCIL SUPPLEMENTARY ROLL OF ELECTORS NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Local Elections and Polls Act 1976, the Supplementary Roll to be used at the Local Body Elections to be held commencing on October 3, 1977, and ending on October 8, 1977. will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 1977. County residents are advised that enrolment is compulsory for any person who has: (1) Attained the age of 18 years. (2) Resided for one year In New Zealand. (3) Resided in the County for not less than one month Immediately preceding the date of the claim. Every person whose name is shown in the occupiers column of the Valuation Roll In respect of rateable property or where there is more than one person’s name shown, the first named, shall have his or her name entered automatically on the County Electors’ Roll. Forms are available from the County Office, corner Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, on which to nominate a member or officer of a company, firm, or association occupying rateable property. All persons possessing qualifications whether residential or ratepayer are urged to ensure that their names are on the roll. In particular this applies to those persons who: (1) Have attained the age of 18 years since the 1971 local body elections. (2) Taken up residence In the County since the 1971 local body elections.
