Well suspended
The Flounder 6 well located at the offshore Gippsland Basin remains suspended at a depth of 2504 m as a result of industrial action, says the Broken Hill Proprietary, Company, Ltd.
Mr H. W. Revell, who has been elected to the board of directors of Cable Price Downer, Ltd, to succeed Mr D. W. A. Barker, who has retired for health reasons. Mr Barker had been a director for 10 years. Mr Revell is a director of a number of New Zealand companies, including T. J. Edmonds, Ltd, Associated British Cables, Ltd, and Canterbury Timber Products, Ltd.
