Legal move on parlour
The closing of a massage parlour in Briggs Road, Mairehau, is now in the hands of the Waimairi County Council’s solicitor. The County Clerk (Mr .1. Reid) said yesterday that there had been no response to the letter delivered by the by-laws inspector on August 19, and it was now up to the solicitor to take action.
The letter gave the proprietor one week to close the business because it contravened the provisions of the district scheme.
