MIXED NEW ZEALAND MARKET
The New Zealand sharemarket closed on a mixed note in moderatel.v active trading yesterday. Twelve parcels of Dominion Fertiliser shares changed hands at prices between 448 c and 522 c. The largest parcel sold at 506 c for a gain of 6c. TNL Group rose 2c on its increased profit and dividend, while AB Consolidated firmed 5c despite a lower profit. Textiles., engineers, and transporters were firmer, timbers mixed, and builders’ suppliers, freezing companies, insurers, and financiers easier.
