DEPARTMENT OF PREHISTORY AND ANTHROPOLOGY LECTURER/LECTURING FELLOW/ SENIOR TUTOR/TUTOR It is hoped that two appointments will be made in the Department of Prehistory and Anthropology at the level of Lecturer/Lecturing Fellow or at the level of Senior Tutor/Tutor. The appointees would be expected to take up duty early in 1978. Applicants should have a good scholarly record in research and teaching in either Anthropology or Prehistory. Experience in one of the following fields may be an advantage: i — Urban Anthropology. — Biological Anthropology, or Human Ethology. ; — New World Prehistory. — Australian Aboriginal Anthropology. The Department of Prehistory and Anthropology undertakes research and teaching in the field of Prehistory, Physical Anthropology and Social Anthropology. The" headship alternates between Professor Anthony Forge and Professor D. J. Mulvaney. Closing date: October 1, 1977.
