Oakbridge pays lie
The directors of Oak-
bridge, Ltd, have recommended an increase in the annual dividend rate from 9c a share to 11c a share after unaudited group net profit rose 52.7 per cent to $Au5t6,752,000 in the year to June 30. Group sales increased 17.4, per cent to $61.3M. Pre-tax profit rose 50.4: per cent to S7.IM, and an] extraordinary loss of; $488,000 ($334,000 pre- ] viously) was not included in the profit. The profit was after pro-] viding $BB,OOO more for tax, ] at $257,000, but minority: interests fell $55,000 to] $44,000. The final dividend of 6c a! share is payable on Novem-! ber 17, ex dividend October: 17.
