The pup is valued at $2OOl [but Mr Baker was so at-1 itached to her that he was [prepared to spend more than’ • that just advertising for her.| [He also offered a $5O reward, for information leading to her return. On Wednesday evening, a[ joyful Mr Baker was reunited’ [with his pup. [pound. She telephoned “Thel,
| Press,” and Mr Baker was i told where his dog might be. • Although at first he did ’ not recognise her, Faith [“went mad” when she saw [her master. She was skinny and [needed feeding, said Mr ’ Baker, and was also rather timid. I The pup had been in the! [pound since last Friday, j [when she was found roam ! ing on farmland outside; Kaiapoi. She was bought as a pup to serve as a watch dog. “Another few months and the burglars would not have had a show,” said Mr Baker.
