Weather closes Rongotai
i PA Wellington Rain and low cloud . closed Wellington Airport ■ for almost the whole of yesterday. About 100 internal flights to or from Wellington were cancelled, and all international flights to the airport were affected. N.A.C. organised five , special flights to clear passengers late yesterday.
A DCB was chartered from Air New Zealand for a flight to Christchurch, and a Hawker-Sideiey from Mount Cook Airlines for a flight to Christchurch and Auckland. Two extra Boeing flights, | one to Auckland, and one | to Christchurch — have i also been scheduled for late this evening.
