STEADIER MARKET
The New Zealand sharemarket was steadier in moderately active trading yesterday, after its initial burst of enthusiasm about the lifting of the dividend regulations on Tuesday.' The N.Z.U.C. index eased 1.08 points, and frequently traded issues were prominent in the few falls. Insurers, financiers, and freezing companies were firmer, and brewers, retailers, and stock and station agents were mixed.
