Output up at Robe River
NZPA Sydney The Robe River iron-ore project raised the output of both fines and pellets in the year to June 30. Production figures released by Robe River, Ltd, a 35 per cent partner in -he project, showed that production of fines rose 23 per cent to the 9.1 M tonnes and the output of pellets 4.5 per cent to 4.3 M tonnes.
The output of ore rose 18 per cent to 14.3 M tonnes. The tonnage of ore and fines produced in the final quarter showed an improvement over the same period last year, but pellet production was reduced slightly by a major overhaul of the pellet plant.
