Ambulance cases
The St John Ambulance Association carried 2739 patients to hospitals in Christchurch last month, a decrease of 374 over June last year. The ambulances covered 32,421 kilometres and collected 177 patients from 133 vehicle accidents, six more than last June. The ambulances attended 99 cases of collapse, an increase of 32. However, miscellaneous accidents declined from 131 to 122.
