Bus-hijack idea ‘came in a dream'
NZPA New York Luis Robinson has said that the bloody 10-hour drama on the taxiways of Kennedy Airport in New York on Monday stemmed from a “dream,” but no-one really knows why he hijacked a Vermont-bound bus. killed two passengers and wounded three others before surrendering and released his remaining hostages. Robinson has been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and 25 counts of kidnapping. He has been remanded for psychiatric evaluation.
Robinson’s attorney (Mr David Addison) told Judge Maxwell Galfunt during a five-minute hearing in the Queens Criminal Court that the 26-year-old navy apprentice seaman had seen a psychiatrist in 1973 for a “minor problem.”
Robinson, a native of Panema who is a registered ■lien in the United States, was described by Mr Addison as a college-educated, “articulate young man.”
