Gas production normal again
Gas production at the Moorhouse Avenue gas works was back to normal yesterday and the company was not making calls for consumers to moderate their use of gas last evening.
The general manager (Mr C. W. Kennedy) said that all pressures were back to normal. This came after 12 hours of lost production because of flooding at the works on Monday, after which gas consumers were asked to conserve gas.
