Bhutto falls from power

Pakistan is reported to be calm after the overthrow yesterday of the Prime Minister (Mr Zulflkar All Bhutto) in a pre-dawn coup by the army. Troops guarded communication offices in the big cities, refusing to accept telex messages or telephone calls, but there were no reports of any fighting. About 45 Opposition leaders have been arrested, but the whereabouts of the Prime Minister is not known.
