Indian Ruler looks good at 1600m
Special correspondent . Auckland Indian Ruler is being brought up again with a view to tackling 2000 metres inthe Taumarunui Cup on! July 30 and he could get his connections a good stake meanwhile in the Fountain City Mile at Te Rapa today. ; Indian Ruler has shown himself able to manage a tery good 1600 metres, the distance he has to go this time.
Cornelius, Bruree, Shaitan and Stipulwin promise to be the hardest for Indian Ruler to beat.
The second leg of the T.A.B. double, the Authority Handicap, looks very open but it will be surprising if True to Order does not go well. Selections:—
