WEAK TREND CONTINUES
The weak trend continued in moderately active trading on New Zealand sharemarkets yesterday. Stock and station agents were firmer, but retailers, insurers, financiers, newspapers, and timber companies easier. The N.Z.U.C. index eased 2.28 points to a new low of 288.56.
