Simpson beats Ray Moore
NZPA London Russell Simpson, of New Zealand, caused an upset when he put out the third seed, Ray Moore, of South Africa, in the Kentish Times lawn tennis championship at Beckenham yesterday.
In spite of a few nerves in the second set, Simpson was never in serious trouble, and won 6-3, 7-5, to go into the fourth round.
