The retail price for red cod yesterday was about $2.80 per kg for boneless cod and $2.20 per kg for cod fillets. Gurnard was $2.80 to $3 per kg and about $2.40 per kg for fillets. Tarakihi fillets were $2.60 per kg and boneless tarakihi was $3.30 to $3.50 per kg. Groper steaks were $3 to $3.60 per kg and boneless ling was $2.60 per kg. Flounder was $2.40 to $2.60 per kg and sole $3.80 to $4 per kg, with small whole sole available at three for $l.
