The downward trend continued in quiet trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. The N.Z.U.C. index eased 1.23 points. Steel and Tube rose 10c on the announcement of a bonus issue and profit increase, but Tasman fell a further sc. Prominent in the rises was Broadlands with its three classes of shares rising Ic.
