Boat Association's magaj zine, "Jet Boating,” in an ■ article by the Canterbury branch chairman (Mr Z. ; Findlay). "The desire of some to ' turn our rivers into race 1 tracks, if not tempered with moderation, may add i complications that could I jeopardise the concessions ; we presently enjoy,” Mr i Findlay said.' Canterbury boaters • enjoyed relatively unrestricted conditions, he said, "but this does not give us : the right to ignore those i with whom we share our ! remaining assets.
