Widespread falls on Australian markets

l Prices of shares retr ated i sharply on Australian stock exchanges yesterday. . Ampol Exploration was one of the few stocks spared in the turn-down, and it rose 3c to 98c. Central Norseman and j Renison also rose. i Pancontinental slumped to 11060 c, and Queensland Mines was down 5c to 245 c. i Kathleen Investments was down to 140 c. | M.I.M. fell 9c to 240 c and CRA 10c to 325 c. i BHP retreated 10c to 672 c and EZI was down 11c to 317 c.
