Development of Queens;park Reserve, Styx, is ex[pected to cost the Waimairi (County Council $41,655 this year, according to provisional (estimates of expenditure in (the county’s reserves budget. The County Engineer (Mr A. J. W. Lamb) told the finance committee that the pro- ! iect was expensive because it involved taking sand away to Marshland Road and bringling back peat. Additional soil •was also required, he said.
