Hunt to identify body
| The police have begun inquiries throughout New Zealand in an effort to identify the body found on the banks of the Waikato River last week. The remains — believed to be those of a male aged about 30 — were found behind the Cambridge golf course on Thursday by three youths. According to the police, the remains had probably been there for up to 10 years. The dead man was about 167 cm (sft 6in) and of slight build. The badly decomposed body was clothed in blue jeans, a black vinyl jacket, 'and black shoes. i The man had also been (wearing a silver “Timex” ( wristwatch, and sunglasses.
