NZPA London An unemployed youth who advertised “cup final seats” for £l5 (about $25) has admitted in a London court sending applicant? small canvas stools with “cup final” written on them. David Wilkins, aged 19, was held in custody for sentence after the Magistrate was told that Wilkins bought the stools from a Woolworrhs store for £3 (about $5) each. The police said that Wilkins had worked from a rented room and had admitted receiving more than 200 calls in answer to his newspaper advertisement.
He obtained a total of £415 for the stools. Wilkins admitted 18 offences of obtaining money by deception.
