Attack on home of Prince
NZPA London No charges are likely to follow an incident at .the ■ home of Prince Charles at Chevening in Kent, during which a woman carrying a knife struggled with staff and broke windows. Instead the woman, Mrs Barbara Jean Nieberg, aged (29, from Los Angeles, may be sent back to the United States under the Mental Health Act. Her nine-year-old son, who travelled with her from London to Chevening, near Sevenoaks, by taxi, is in the care of the local authority. Mrs Nieberg’s husband died four years ago and she has told police that her trip to Britain was financed by selling her arts and crafts business in America. She rented a flat in south Kensington. Prince Charles is in Scotland at present. The woman rang the doorbell but was refused admission by tire caretaker.
