The Section comprises four graduates and handles problems of forecasting, investment analysis, stock control, production scheduling and financial modelling. Computing facilities consist of an 1.8. M. 370, and a Desk Top machine is used within the Section. The Company is seeking a person with some experience in the Operations Research field; particularly, the imagination to identify the essential elements of a problem, and convey the meaning of the results to management. Applicants should have a degree in a qualitative discipline, including some mathematics or statistics. Formal qualifications in O.R. would be an advantage, but not essential.
