About 5000 students have ' staged a silent candlelit proI ■ cession through the streets II of Crakow to mourn the J mysterious death of a stui! dent who worked closely with the dissident Workers i Defence Committee. The stu- ■ dents publicly announced the formation of'a new Students Solidarity Committee, which they said supported the W.D.C. and was aimed at replacing the existing Com-munist-controlled student organisation.
