As well as his share of the $3OOO stake, the winner of the Canterbury Park Juvenile Flying Stakes at Addington Raceway on Friday will be able to earn another $lOOO. This amount will be payable by the Canterbury Park Club should the winner better 2min for one mile, a feat yet to be achieved by a two-year-old pacer in New Zealand. Any chance of the 2min barrier being broken was reduced yesterday when Timely Score and Glide Time, two of the early favourites for the race, drew the second line.
