A total of 224,100 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 17,900 special sales. The total was 304,600 fewer than on Friday. Industrial shares totalled 218,800 (523,700 on Friday), and 5300 mining and oil shares were traded (3000 on Friday). A total of 100 issues was traded. The five most active issues were: N.Z.
