Wage rise confirmed
PA Wellington The State Services Tribunal has confirmed the 3.5 per cent, half-yearly survey, wage increase that was approved by the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) in mid-March. The rise, back-dated to October 11, will benefit about 150,000 State servants such as teachers, hospital employees, post office workers and much of the Public Service.
